This week's infeCtious guest mix comes from Andy Bate.
Hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, Andy is a dj of man
y different styles. Having been
brought up with electronic music from a young age h
e took a passion for listening
into a hobby for mixing by purchasing Technic 1210’
s at the age of 18. After taking a
few years to practice he entered and won some local
mixing competitions and began
to start dj’ing in various venues around Glasgow. I
t’s from this experience he started
up his own brand alongside fellow dj/producer Ross
Cairns.
Currently working on Prewave, 2014 has seen him est
ablish a weekly radio show in
the heart of Glasgow bringing in various big name a
rtists alongside supporting local
talents and with this Andy is looking to expand his
passion for multi genre music and
working with artists into something greater towards
the end of the year.
