Big Small Feelings

September 2016, there are two new boys on the scene for Jess. One is verrrrrry young and may/may not have been to prison but...there's just something about him. In May, Laura has a drunken night she would rather forget. (But if you're the Balinese police reading this, this is entirely fictional and never happened x).

In a BSF first, Jess is revisiting an entry that she previously censored (gasp!) that details her star-crossed love affair that wasn't meant to be (...or was it?) . After 7 days, Laura is back baby and discovering the power of Balinese spirit AND spirits.

In Sept 2016, Jess is thinking a LOT about paths...and a peanut butter brownie. In May, Laura is still processing her breakup, but is she avoidant or just trying to be positive?

August 2016 Jess continues her Colombian adventure by getting lost (again) and then finds herself in a cafe with a handsome stranger, but has he noticed her too? In May 2016, Laura has finally reached a conclusion about her relationship, and makes a decision she isn't proud of.

In August 2026 Jess has made an endless list of activities to help her throw herself into her new life in Cali, two left feet first. Laura is wrapping up her time in NZ (which has basically been one long bender) with an uncharacteristically earnest (and positive?!) discovery.

July 2016 Jess is being hard on herself about her new life in Colombia. But...in fairness to her...it has only been two days. In March, Laura has a confession to make, and it's not just her mother who will be horrified (RIP lizard).

In July 2016 Jess is leaving for Colombia, not before she gives herself a (maybe drunk?) pep talk in Heathrow T2 (would you expect anything less?). In March, Laura has landed in Thailand, but won't fully arrive herself until two things fall into place...

In 2016 Jess has her very own sliding doors moment with two (almost) job offers. In Abu Dhabi, Laura begins her travels as a semi, lightly seasoned traveller, but she's struggling with holding in something BIG.

In Feb 2016 Jess is hanging out with the boys (her brothers, not the dogs) and deciding whether or not to call it off with convenience boy. In Jan 2016, Laura is preparing for her big trip...cough cough "volunteering", but has a secret she's not yet ready to share...
