Big Time Golf Guys - A Golf Equipment Podcast

This week, Adam and Bill discuss the finer points of golf bags, including which features they both find to be most important when choosing their gamer. Adam gives a quick review of the Srixon Nimbus Ultra Light stand bag, Bill is in Wisconsin for some reason, and at one point the guys start babbling all Chicago-like about street names and pizza.

The boys are back to talk about your wedge game. Look, we get it. You want to be cool, play some super sleek wedges with high toes, full face grooves and 75 degrees of loft. Don't, knucklehead. Embrace technology in your wedges, because your golf game will improve dramatically!

This week the boys are back to talk about XXIO Golf, including the different lines available, price points, and who the clubs benefit the most in terms of golfer type. Adam is recovering from a brief encounter with St. Patrick's Day, and Bill does his best to right the ship throughout. Can we get Bill a better microphone arm, for crying out loud?!

The boys are back to talk LASERS in this week's episode of the Big Time Golf Guys podcast! Adam and Bill discuss the Shot Scope PRO L1 Laser Rangefinder, including all its bells and whistles (but only when pronounced correctly). Can an affordable laser rangefinder with a long brag sheet stand the test that only two huge golf nerds can provide? Listen here to find out!

The boys are back this week to talk about the new Tour Edge Exotics 721 driver. Bill gives a solid rundown of all the new tech built in to this outstanding driver option. Adam offers his thoughts on the feel of the driver during his test. Some dog starts barking in the background, yet Bill remains undeterred as he makes one of his boldest claims yet regarding a new piece of golf equipment.

Adam and Bill are BACK to dive deep into Bettinardi putters, including the lauded 2021 Queen B line. Bill talked Adam into getting a new microphone, too, so everyone sounds all nice and professional in this one. What are the benefits of using a Bettinardi putter? How do you really pronounce "Illinois" if you were from Tinley Park? We also say the word "boutique" a lot. Fun times!

The Big Time Golf Guys are back and ready to dish out the details on the new Cleveland Frontline putters for 2021. Adam and Bill discuss the finer qualities of the new head and neck shapes, including the purpose of the materials used, the benefits you can expect from using a Frontline, and much more. Vertical Width, a new golf term that only a few will understand, also makes an opening appearance for Richard Marx. Trust us. It happened.

We've all tried them: golf training aids. Some are really good, some aren't, and some just trash. There's no two ways about it. Adam and Bill discuss golf training aids in general, including some from both sides of the coin. This is a really fun episode that has a ton of laughs, MORE KIDS SCREAMING, and Adam has a potty mouth.

Adam and Bill are back from their one-week hiatus (kudos to everyone who bet on Episode 7 as the breaking point) and dag nabbit, they find themselves in the midst of another distance debate flare-up. Adam's all sorts of fired up about things he can't control, Bill tries to talk him off the ledge, THERE'S A CHILD YELLING IN THE BACKGROUND, and what the heck is up with Adam's microphone? This episode is a hot mess and frankly we blame the R&A and USGA for it.

Adam and Bill are back for another Big Time Golf Guys podcast! Bill gives listeners the rundown on Scott Readman Concepts, a boutique putter and golf accessory brand that he has a personal connection to. Adam literally buys a headcover during the recording instead of listening to Bill. Bill doesn't notice, so that's our little secret.
