The annual Bug 12/SEC Challenge had some good games, but the way UK took out the loudest crowd at any indoor sporting event was impressive to say the least. Also of note, it was the Rick Barnes homecoming tour. He did salute the crowd prior to the game, but Tennessee fell short by a single point. Hall of Fame broadcaster Dick Vitale decided on Monday that he needs more rest with his voice and has decided to wait until fall to return. He did all of 3 games, but they were each memorable moments and the fans stood up and cheered. I ask everyone to pray for him and to periodically check both his Twitter and Instagram handles for updates. The MTE’s are underway, as the Mohegan Sun Casino had a true NCAA tournament feel on Sunday. A few other tourneys in South Carolina and Florida produced some interesting results.
