In Episode #2 of Bike Culture, I have the privilege of interviewing Adrian Leemhuis. Adrian is an avid road rider that has turned to gravel riding. Following the death of his 14 year old son, he and his wife have organized the Blumoose Gravel Race in Golden to raise money for the Golden and District Hospital that treated them so well. 

Load up the episode and give a listen; we talk about what gravel riding is all about and how to get started, the race and how to prepare for long distance rides, and he shares some personal stories about him and his son.

Adrian is from Toronto and has made Golden his second home. Golden is an incredible town situated between the Purcells and the Rocky Mountains in the East Kootenays of British Columbia. Bike Culture is alive and well in this town.
