In Episode #1 of Bike Culture, I have the privilege of interviewing Mathieu Pelletier and Sara Hedstrom about family bike packing. For 5 years now they have hit the road and gravel with their family for days, weeks and now months at a time. Why do they do it? How do they do it? How has this impacted their lives? Give a listen and find out about their adventures with their kids Sam, 8 yrs old, and Mathilda, 4 yrs old.
Golden is an incredible town situated between the Purcells and the Rocky Mountains in the East Kootenays of British Columbia. Matt and Sara have made their home and raise their children here. Bike Culture is alive and well in this town.
