Billboard recently released their list of the top 50 hip hop groups of all time. Their list was based on the criteria of the groups "being foundational pioneers, evolutionary trailblazers, or contemporary disruptors." And yet...City Girls made the top 50 but a group like Digital Underground (who introduced us to one of the greatest and influential rappers of all time in Tupac Shakur) didn't make the list.
