Yes! Apple has finally revealed the date of Billie Eilish documentary film “Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry” directed by filmmaker R.J.Cutler. It’s been more than 9 months Apple acquired this documentary but never said a word on the release date. It feels good to share that the film would hit theatres and Apple TV+ early next year in February 2021, the exact date yet to be known.

Billie Eilish doesn’t need an introduction, still few facts have to be highlighted that she is a 18 years old star American singer and songwriter. She got the attention through her songs “Ocean Eyes to SoundCloud in 2015 which was later released by the Interscope Records subsidiary Darkroom. However, she created a wave with her debut studio album, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? (2019) and became the best – performing album of 2019 in the US.

Eilish received 5 Grammy Awards, 2 American Music Awards, and 2 Guinness World Records, 3 MTV Video Music Awards and 1 Brit Award. The list doesn’t stop there, she has also won Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year – all in 2019. I think its more than enough to know why Apple decided to pay $25 million for Billie Eilish Documentary film.

The World’s A Little Blurry would be the second documentary based on a music artist or band after “Beastie Boys Story”

Apple shared a press release today, “Apple and Billie Eilish today announced that the highly anticipated documentary feature film, “Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry,” directed by award-winning filmmaker R.J. Cutler (“Belushi,” “The September Issue,” “The War Room”), will premiere in theatres and on Apple TV+ in February 2021. The documentary is from Apple Original Films, in association with Interscope Films, Darkroom, This Machine and Lighthouse Management & Media.

Apple also highlighted Billie Eilish’s key achievement some of them I have already covered, however, that’s what press release stated, “Darkroom/Interscope Records artist Billie Eilish released her groundbreaking debut album “WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?” in 2019 and won Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album at this year’s 62nd Grammy Awards in January, followed by her rousing performance of The Beatles’ “Yesterday” at the 92nd Oscars. This year also saw 18-year-old Eilish release her internationally hailed official James Bond theme song, “No Time To Die,” for the forthcoming MGM/Eon Productions James Bond motion picture.
