Talking about what it really means to turn your will over to the care of God. Is God a theory in your life is is God applied through the practical application?

I share my story in short form that was recorded this past summer. I hope you get something out of it.

Tracy L from Connecticut shares her journey of substance dependency. She wasn't a full blown addict but physically dependant on opiods. She didn't even know what life was like without these drugs of no choice. Many people get into addiction through using opiates as pain killers. Once the doctor told her she needed to get off the drugs that were prescribed to her for most of her adult life, she got off. She now uses her experience to carry a message to others. In this episode we lay out where and how to find the God/Higher Power we so desperately need to stay sober and more importantly to change and live our best life. We go over many aspects in this episode and it is by far one our favorite steps to deliver and understand. This step grows and develops over time. 

In this episode we discuss what sort of thinking precedes the first drink or drug. Knowing full well what is going to happen again. Why do we pick up? What thoughts go through our head in order to allow us to pick up and try the desperate experiment again.  And this episode will describe why we need God/Higher power working in our lives. Why the theory of God is not enough. 

In this episode we break down the difference between the moderate drinker, the heavy drinker and the real alcoholic that this book is designed for. 

We give our take on the literature based on sponsorship and our own experience.
