The 21st sentence reads, "You have heard that it was said to them of old:
'You shall not kill; but whosoever kills shall be found guilty by the courts.'
Truly, I say to you, however: Exercise fairness according to the law of the Creation,
so that you find the judgement in discernment (logic, logicalness); therefore, you do not kill.".
And then

Well, that should actually be clear, shouldn't it?

Yes.
But religion basically repeatedly calls for killing.
Billy:
Yes, but we're not affirming religion.

That's a belief. Religion is a belief.

And with a belief human beings just believe,
and they believe that whatever is not right or whatever they think is not right
would have to be punished by death, they think that death is a just punishment.
Murder is murder, it's not a punishment, it's murder.

Well, in the countries that have the death penalty, it's not considered murder, but
Billy:
Yes, it's not considered to be murder, because it's treated religiously.
Religion has historically written, “Kill!”, even if they contradictorily argue, "Don't kill.".
MichaelVoigtlaender:
Exactly, that's the point; on the one hand it should be obvious and easy to understand,
but that's precisely where religion is totally contradictory.
‘Thou shalt not kill.’,
but there are many passages, especially in the Old Testament or in the books of Moses,
where it says, if one does such and such a thing, then one shall be put to death.
Billy:
Right, right. That's more than a contradiction, that's homicidal,
that's pre-programmed murder,
with religion, murder is pre-programmed, killing is pre-programmed.
