Yes, Binary System has now reached full meta status. This week the Welcome To Night Vale recap podcast is recapping the first episode of the podcast that's recapping the first episode of the Welcome To Night Vale podcast. Read that sentence through a few more times; it won't make any more sense, but isn't it glorious?

After that we wander into Transformers (and how we love the IDW series but we're getting a little tired of all the homework you have to do to understand what's going on) and Adam Warren's Empowered, and cosplay plans for San Diego Comic-Con.

We had a technical snafu about 3/4ths of the way through and had to switch to the backup recording, sorry for the slightly tinny sound.

Correction: when Elizabeth said in 2012 she recorded the first episode of the old podcast, she meant HER first episode of the old podcast. It’d been going for almost a year and a half before she got there.
