We'll be honest, when we saw the title of this week's Welcome To Night Vale episode we hoped it would be a nifty wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey, Doctor Who-themed story with some Night Vale weirdness mixed in. But the writers love to defy expectations, so instead we got a lighthearted story about everyone in the town dealing with the truth of human existence, the body's inevitable decline, and the inescapable reality of death.
