Hey everyone.  Long time, no talk.  After a bit of a break, RHK is back for its 14th episode.  On this one I am talking all about the bigger and smaller games I've been wrapping up while I wait for the insane 2020 gaming extravaganza to kick off with Doom: Eternal in March.  Sometimes having a month or two where there is nothing new to play is a good thing, as it's given me time to finish some huge games I thought I'd never finish, and to start and beat some smaller indie games that were gathering digital dust on my hard drives.  Beyond that, there is a lot of non-spoilery Death Stranding talk in this one too, so that's fun!  Anyway thanks for listening everybody and enjoy the episode.

Greetings everyone, and welcome to Episode 261 of BTK. For our last review of 2019, we are talking all about “Midsommar”, which I actually braved the theaters to go see. It was odd, as my misanthropy is the reason why I don’t go to the theater, as well as the reason I DID actually go and see this in the theater. You see, I was very pumped to see this but was more than happy to wait until a Blu Ray release was available. That being said, I remember how Hereditary was spoiled for me with a careless thumbnail, and then Midsommar was almost spoiled in a similar way. So I said, “maybe I should go see this thing before the scumbag pieces of shit on the internet spoil it for me”. Hence, me going to a theater. Anyway, it’s out now and hopefully Luke liked it because it was definitely my intention that he see it before the year closes out. And if he hated it? Well, Luke has poor taste, we know this. Just look at the podcast he’s on.
