On this show Bing does his little bit from New York, having just returned from the European theatre of war. On the other coast in Hollywood George Murphy and Marilyn Maxwell open the show with Thou Swell Thou Witty Thou Grand. George goes on to welcome Spike Jones and his City Slickers after their tour entertaining the troops in France. Bing comes across the airwaves from a studio in New York and a surprise visit by Bob Hope completes an excellent show.
