The #BingeLeague is back for another action-packed podcast season. The League has chosen the immensely popular series Black Mirror as our next popcorn and pizza filled binge-ing victim and this episode has the League split! Striking Vipers is the first episode in season 5 and in true Black Mirror fashion has humanity and technology wrapped up in a delicious, disturbing and delicate mess. The penultimate episode of Game of Thrones... The last one before the LAST last one... It has been a journey. The #BingeLeague gather once again gather and unpack the showdown between Queen Daenerys and Cersei.  "The Bells" is an episode full of moments that have been built up from the very beginning. To borrow a phrase from the kids, it was literally too lit... as in fire... as in dragon fire. The boys discuss if it was a case of unparalleled television in terms of character and story, or rather hit and miss on a grand scale.

In this weeks episode of #BingeLeague Shannon, Yuven and Ditshepo are all about spilling the Game of Thrones tea and there is a lot to be spilt this time! However we don’t know if this pot is boiled by G.R.R Martin or by the Game of Thrones show runners David Benioff & D.B Weiss. There are some very questionable developments since the terrible lose of Shannon’s beloved Night King in episode four of season 8, The Last of the Starks. The League discuss the fact that apparently dragons can’t see now, character arcs are being reduced to ash & with two episodes to go Cersei might not be the only mad Queen with cold blooded murder on her mind.

After seven seasons of looming White Walker Dread, Game of Thrones finally delivered the much anticipated showdown between the living and the dead. The Binge League dive right into the 15$ million dollar episode that stands at the longest runtime for any episode at a staggering 82 minutes. It was a long dark, like really dark, night for our heroes as the fog of war descended over Winterfell. In true GOT fashion some characters didn’t live to tell the tale and some of us in the League aren’t too happy about that. To give a hint let me just say #Justice4NightKing…
