LANDSCAPERS recounts the true story of a seemingly normal English couple, Susan and Christopher Edwards, who turn themselves into police after 15 years of hiding. Why? Susan killed her mother after seeing her mother kill her father. And Susan’s husband buried the parents in the back yard. The Edwards have been living on the parents' money ever since. But, as they  tell police, there was a very decent reason behind the whole “ unfortunate” incident.

NORMAL PEOPLE, an Irish series, looks at the friendship/romance between two young people from very different backgrounds as they transition from high school to university and ultimately out into the adult world.

A 30-something pretty, whip-smart nurse must, for the umpteenth time, face her large  family's Christmas dinner without a boyfriend. In the days leading up to the feast she embarks on a mission to find true love with totally unpredictable results. The series will surprise you with its droll humor, clever plot turns, and unorthodox characters.

PACHINKO (South Korea)  chronicles four generations of a Korean family who endure and overcome the difficulties faced by Koreans who were forced to live under Japanese occupation. A young illiterate but clever woman will become the matriarch of the family and, over 8 decades, the series follows her as she experiences Japanese discrimination, political upheaval, war and personal drama.

THE ENGLISH-( USA, England )  It is the American West in the late 1890s. An English noblewoman has traveled here to exact revenge on the man who's killed her son. She soon meets a world-weary member of the Pawnee nation and ex-Cavalry scout who is on a mission of his own.  The two form an unlikely bond as they make their way across this rugged landscape.

 CRASH LANDING ON YOU (South Korea)  is a South Korean romantic epic in which a spoiled heiress, while hang gliding in an ad for one of her many businesses, accidentally crash lands into North Korea. She's rescued by a handsome North Korean army officer. To their suprise, they fall in love and have to navigate an array of expected and unexpected obstacles.

In the American comic adventure series FLIGHT ATTENDANT ( USA)  an attractive and hard-partying flight attendant has a wild night with a handsome stranger only to wake up the next morning to find herself in bed next to his bloody, dead body. How and why she got herself into this complicated mess is something she needs to discover.

BORGEN, ( Denmark) a Danish political thriller, features a compelling female politician who becomes Denmark's first female prime minister. In the series she attempts to balance both her personal and professional life as well as negotiate the many political and ethical crises that confront her. 

This week we look at the long-running series, LINE OF DUTY ( UK), which portrays the personal and professional challenges faced by a small unit of police officers  charged with uncovering the corruption secretly permeating various divisions of their police department.
