In this episode, we had the opportunity to have a conversation with Valentina Ploy.

Valentina Ploy Thai-Italian singer-songwriter is known for her emotional indie-pop vocals and honest songwriting. Raised in Southern Italy, she is fluent in five languages: Thai, Italian, English, French, and Spanish.

After previously being signed to Warner Music Asia, Valentina is now fully independent. Her career continues to flourish, with recent highlights including her performance at NEON OASIS FEST in Taipei and opening for Coldplay during their Music of the Spheres tour in Bangkok. Valentina Ploy returns with her latest project titled “Warm” , her most personal body of work to date and her first full-length album released independently. The album marks a meaningful new chapter in her international music career.

With the lyric, “Sometimes I wish I was cooler, but maybe I was born to stay warm,” Valentina encapsulates the core message of the album a new season of softness, honesty, and self-acceptance. Comprising 12 tracks, Warm explores themes of love, especially self-love and finding joy in life through an intimate and personal lens.
The album is divided into two parts, taking listeners on an emotional journey from introspection to lighthearted moments.

In this episode, we had the opportunity to have a conversation with James Berkeley . 

James Berkeley British multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter. James Berkeley best known as the former lead vocalist of UK neo-soul band Yakul, confidently embarks on a new solo journey with his debut album “Lost Boy, Golden Hour,” led by the emotionally rich single “Giving Me Love,” released on July 2025. On James Berkeley Single titled ‘Giving Me Love,’ is a reminder that even when we feel at our lowest, the people closest to us can still see the best version of who we are. James is no stranger to the UK’s jazz, R&B, and soul scenes. With Yakul, he garnered attention by selling out Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club three times, collaborating with Mereba, and even co-writing with Incognito on their album “Tomorrow’s New Dream”. He also toured internationally with Incognito, performing at Blue Note Tokyo and Blue Note Milan.

Beyond the spotlight, James has remained incredibly productive. He has released two solo EPs and collaborated with long-time creative partner edbl, including their 2022 joint EP, which has amassed over 2 million streams. He has also opened for Cosmo Pyke and continues to grow his reputation with his standout studio work and captivating live energy.

Lyla adalah sebuah band bergenre pop asal Pekanbaru yang berdiri sejak tahun 2006. Saat ini Lyla berangotakan Ario (Vokal), Fare (Gitar), Denis (Bass), Dharma (Keyboard), dan Difin (Drum). Sampai tahun 2025 ini, Lyla telah merilis 5 full album dan album terakhirnya bertajuk 'Jamuan Musim Semi pada tahun 2024. Pemilihan Jamuan Musim Semi sebagai judul album Lyla mempunyai filosofi menggambarkan keindahan sebuah karya setelah melewati perjalanan berat dalam mempertahankan eksistensi Lyla. Dalam album ini Lyla berkolaborasi dengan beberapa tokoh, penyanyi dan juga musisi lintas genre, sehingga album itu terdengar lebih kaya. Di antaranya Aldi Taher, Mondo Gascaro, Tasha Bouslama, dan lainnya. Salah satu lagu yang menjadi remake dalam album ini adalah lagu “Ga Romantis” , Ga Romantis' pertama kali diciptakan oleh vokalis pertama Lyla, Indra Sinaga dan muncul di album ketiga yang dirilis tahun 2014. Kini di tahun 2025, lagu tersebut kembali dihidupkan dengan sisipan beberapa elemen yang membuat lagu ini makin 'matang' .

Di episode kali ini Wulan ngobrol-ngobrol dengan penyanyi, aktor, dan bintang iklan yang memulai karirnya dari kecil dan kini hadir dengan karya single musik terbarunya. Episode kali ini kita ditemani Alvin Lapian.

Alvin Mayhard Lapian atau yang lebih dikenal dengan Alvin Lapian merupakan penyanyi, aktor, dan bintang iklan yang memulai kariernya sejak usia dini, ia menjadi anggota Hi-5 Indonesia yang merupakan sebuah acara televisi anak-anak yang diadaptasi dari acara televisi Australia dengan nama yang sama. Dan akhir-akhir ini Alvin Lapian aktif dalam beberapa pertunjukan teater, di antaranya Polarisasi dan Interaksi. Alvin Lapian yang sebelumnya pada tahun 2024 mengeluarkan single berjudul “Masa Laluku” , kini kembali hadir menyapa pendengar musik tanah air dengan single terbarunya yang berjudul “Berulang dan Berputar”. Dalam Single ini mengisahkan perjalanan emosional dua manusia yang terjebak dalam kisah cinta dan persahabatan, sehingga keduanya tak mampu untuk menyatakan perasaan cintanya karena terhalang oleh ketidakpastian dan rasa takut akan terluka. Berulang kali terjebak dalam perasaan yang sama, hingga pada akhirnya mereka memutuskan untuk terus berjalan dan melangkah masing-masing. “Berulang dan Berputar” menjadi cerminan dari hubungan yang stagnan, terus berjalan dalam siklus yang sama tanpa kejelasan arah.

Walau lagu ini dibalut dengan aransemen dan nada yang terdengar ceria, namun dari liriknya bisa membuat pendengarnya merasakan pengalaman yang emosional.
