Hanif Andarevi kembali ke kancah musik Indonesia lewat album mini perdananya yang berjudul ‘Receiver’, Album ini dirilis oleh Trinity Optima Production. Berisi lima lagu, Album ‘Receiver’ menampilkan semakin berkembangnya Hanif Andarevi dalam bercerita melalui musiknya. Hanif bercerita bahwa ‘Receiver’ adalah perjalanan yang menceritakan kebangkitan seseorang dari masa lalunya yang traumatis untuk kembali mencari arti kehidupan dan berdamai dengan segala yang terjadi di masa lalu. Walau sempat menghilang dari kancah musik Indonesia, itu bukan berarti Hanif hilang dari musik itu sendiri. Ia menulis lagu-lagu untuk Receiver sambil menyelesaikan studi teknik biomedika di Jerman. Dengan kembalinya ke kancah musik, Hanif Andarevi berharap para pendengar ‘Receiver’ juga bisa menemukan perjalanannya sendiri melalui kegelapan.

Diepisode kali Wulan ngobrol-ngobrol dengan penyanyi yang beberapa bulan lalu telah ngobrol bareng Bingkai Karya namun secara Virtual dan menepati janjinya untuk datang langsung ke Bingkai Karya dalam rangkaian Promo Karya terbarunya. Episode kali ini kita ditemani Ali Mensan . 

Setelah merilis debut single pada April 2024 lalu, Ali Mensan merilis single keduanya bertajuk ‘Fall in Love Again’ pada Juli 2024. Ali Mensan yang juga aktor Indonesia ini sudah menulis lagu sejak SMA di tahun 2003 dan 'Fall in Love Again’ ini adalah lagu pertama yang ia tulis.

Lagu bernuansa fun dan beraliran pop ini masih seperti single perdananya yang bercerita melalui bahasa Inggris, namun di single kedua ini, Ali menambahkan Bahasa Indonesia pada bagian verse-nya. Di lagu ini pun ternyata pengalaman pribadi Ali saat remaja.

In this episode, we had the opportunity to have a conversation with Thai alt-pop band Tilly Birds

Tilly Birds is an alternative band from Bangkok, Thailand, signed under the record label and entertainment agency GMM Music, Gene Lab. Together for over ten years, with Billy as guitarist/producer, Third as lead lyricist and vocalist, and Milo on drums and arrangements, the trio creates a blend of music with a unique sound and character that can’t be easily defined. With hits like “Just Being Friendly” and “Same Page,” they have cemented their status in Thailand’s booming music scene and have toured the Asia-Pacific, performing at major music festivals like Clockenflap in Hong Kong and Busan Rock in South Korea, as well as concerts in the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, Japan, and China.

Tilly Birds is back with a new English single, “Retro-39,” set for global release on major streaming platforms on October 2024. “Retro-39” marks Tilly Birds' latest effort to bring more international listeners into their musical world. Over the years, they’ve performed at various festivals and concerts across Asia, always eager to perform at highly anticipated venues. The creation process of "Retro-39" reflects the carefree fun and joyful sensation evoked by the single.

In this episode, we had the opportunity to have a conversation with American rock band L.A. Edwards .

Luke Andrew Edwards was born in the one-stop-light town of Julian, in the California desert. He is the second of seven children who tenured there in what’s lovingly called “The Rock House”. Luke’s musicality was spurred by its taboo nature in the home, or more peaceably, simply woven into the fabric of his particular being, it is a force that has remained a through-line in his life.
Luke’s first foray into recording music under “L.A. Edwards” proffered an EP titled “Secrets We’ll Never Know” in 2015. The collection leans on influences gathered later in life like Tom Petty and Jackson Browne.
L.A. Edwards has released a new live session video for their latest single 'El Camino,' recorded at the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Sheffield, Alabama on September 20. It’s taken from their acclaimed album Pie Town, released through Bitchin' Music Group and distributed worldwide by The Orchard / M.A.R.S., now available everywhere.
Following a series of sold-out tours with renowned artists like Lucinda Williams, Rival Sons, and The White Buffalo, L.A. Edwards gathered at Road End Studio in Seattle, Washington, to record Pie Town late last year. Having just completed their first headlining tour in Europe, the band is eager to reach more fans on their world tour.

Febinda Tito adalah musisi kelahiran Tulungagung, Jawa Timur yang memulai karir bermusik di awal tahun 2020 sebagai musisi independent. Febinda Tito mempunyai gaya lagu-lagunya yang bergenre pop easy-listening juga lirik yang mengambil tema relatable dengan anak muda jaman sekarang menjadi ciri khasnya sendiri. Febinda Tito menarik perhatian setelah lagunya yang berjudul ‘Tak Lagi Lagi’ viral di platform TikTok. Lagu 'Tak Lagi Lagi' sendiri masuk ke dalam album kedua Tito bersama Warner Music Indonesia yang berjudul ‘Romansa 3 Babak’ dan dirilis di bulan Februari 2024. Ia juga aktif membuat konten sosial media baik di Instagram dan Tiktok. Kini Febinda Tito berjalan secara independen setelah setelah bergabung dengan Warner Music Indonesia di tahun 2022 dan merilis lagu terbaru berjudul ‘Berakhir Sebelum Dimulai’. Lagu ini menjadi karya terbaru Tito yang dirilis secara independen. Lagu ‘Berakhir Sebelum Dimulai’ mengangkat tema tentang sebuah hubungan yang berakhir bahkan sebelum statusnya jelas. Febinda Tito sebagai penulis lirik mendapatkan inspirasi dari perpaduan antara pengalaman pribadinya dengan kisah yang dibagikan oleh para pengikutnya.

I’mdifficult is one of the most exciting up-and-coming bands from Taiwan. The experimental pop group from Taipei made waves with their self-titled latest album last December, which received great reviews from critics and fans alike. This year, they have played major festivals in Taiwan such as Megaport, and completed a successful Japan tour. Later this year, they will also be featuring at SXSW Sydney.

AXEAN Festival is the first intraregional music showcase festival in Southeast Asia, and will feature some of the best indie acts from countries including Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Philippines and South Korea. AXEAN Festival aims to elevate Southeast Asian music onto the world stage and bring the rich culture from the region across borders.
