An early mentor used to say that… buying right cures all ills. True? We would say partly. Being a real estate agent provides so many opportunities to create multiple income streams and grow wealth… as long as you have an 'entrepreneurial mindset'. That's not the norm though, so unfortately… most licensed agents never take advantage of the many avenues and opportunities available to them.
JP Dumlao, a top Canadian agent, is an exception to the rule. He's built a thriving practice doing over 50 transactions per year… has built a team around him to systemize the process and free up his time… is involved in fix & flips… holds rentals for cash flow and long-term appreciation … and has even started his own gym for serious bodybuilders.

Bac is a Systems Engineer by day and a Real Estate entrepreneur by night (and some weekends as well!). He began investing in real estate in 2010, mainly focusing on acquisition of single-family homes with owner financing.
His investing activities eventually expanded into the acquisition of Non-Performing 2nd Mortgage Notes (NPN) – specializing in notes where the borrowers were in the middle of a bankruptcy. With the extensive training he's invested in over the years, coupled with his engineering background & experience, he's developed a "system" that allows him to review and analyze a potential note buy, and quickly determine the optimal price range to offer and the most ideal exit strategy to employ.
Bac has several rentals that he self-manages, an AirBNB property (also self-managed), and he's also a prolific Note Investor, private money lender, and a licensed real estate agent in CA.
