Dr. Legut is co-founder and CEO of OverT Bio. An immunologist with over a decade of experience in basic and translational oncology, his work spans cell therapy, oncolytic viruses, antigen discovery and nanomedicine. With Dr. Sanjana, he developed the genome-scale overexpression and cell programming platform in immune cells that powers OverT's immunotherapies. Prior to OverT, he helped develop clinical programs for gamma delta T cells, CAR-T cells and TILs, and served as a Hope Fellow at the New York Genome Center and NYU, leading an immunogenomics team. He earned his PhD in Andrew Sewell's lab at Cardiff University, and has authored more than thirty publications and nine patent applications.

Michael Bunsick ([email protected]) is a postdoctoral fellow at Princeton University in the lab of Bonnie Bassler. His work focuses on how bacterial viruses exploit a chemical communication process called quorum sensing to optimize their infectious lifecycle. Michael earned both his B.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of Toronto. Michael is also working on commercializing new DNA assembly and cloning technology he developed during his postdoc.

VectorWeave is commercializing a proprietary DNA assembly and cloning technology that removes this bottleneck. The technology supports the assembly of large, complex plasmids, as well as efficient multi-site plasmid mutagenesis. VectorWeave is exploring both a plasmid assembly service business and partnership opportunities with DNA synthesis providers to expand the size, complexity, and reliability of their product offerings.
