A Safe Distance is an indie feature film currently in the festival circuit. After a strong screening at SXSW, and Fantasia, the film sits currently at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes (as of October 1, 2026). The two lead cast Bethany Brown (Murder In A Small Town, The 100) and Tandia Mercedes talks to 1st AD Andy Wong about what made them feel safe during production.

Claudia Morgado (She/Her) has built a respected career as a Script Supervisor with credits such as the TV Series The Audacity (2026), A Million Little Things (2021-2023), and Julie and the Phantoms (2020). She's also done several Vancouver filmed feature films such as Pathfinder (2007), and The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009) & Eclipse (2010) as well. Before script supervising she also worked as an Assistant Film Editor on projects like I Spy (2002), Final Destination (2000), and Elf (2003)!
