After an extremely busy summer season, the BuzzPod returns! Sacha recaps the summer, previews fall/winter activities, and visits with Danielle Gaughen, Executive Director of the Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce, about the quest for public restrooms in the bay.

We recognize Bay Center Market as our Member of the Month for March, 2022. Local artist Doug Parent joins us to discuss "Paint and Drink" at The Beach Bar, and Guy Ochiogrosso, President /CEO of the Bellingham Regional Chamber of Commerce talks what's going on in Whatcom County's largest city.

WECU is recognized as our February Member of the Month. We take a look at our schedule of events for 2022 and Kaya Gaughen, Dianne Marrs-Smith and Sacha sit down for a discussion about upcoming vote on the proposed Birch Bay Library project.

In this episode we recognize our Member of the Month Baker Septic, preview long-standing Birch Bay New Year's traditions the Ring of Fire and Hope and Polar Bear Plunge. Mike Kent joins us to talk about the origins of the Ring of Fire and Hope. We also sit down with Dennis Whitaker at his shop off Bay Rd. to talk about his popular Basic Engine Class coming up after the first of the year.
