On this episode we talk to David Bell and Siobhan Darlington who have been banders with the Rocky Point Bird Observatory during the fall migration season the past two years. On October 1, 2019 they were both involved with a very special bird that visted the Rocky Point banding station and they tell us what happened on that special day.
We also talk about their winter trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, a very cool PhD cougar project that Siobhan is involved in around the Kelowna, BC area. David also experienced a very unusual spring migration fallout from his back yard on April 29th and he shares his eBird checklist with us from that day.
