Our campus provides many opportunities for all students to be encouraged and grow in their college experience here in Nashville. One of these is of these is our Ideal program. IDEAL, short for Igniting the Dream of Education and Access at Lipscomb, is a unique two-year program created by our College of Education for students with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities to experience college alongside their peers and the Lipscomb community. IDEAL was developed based on Think College Standards and in consultation with other successful post-secondary programs, encourages and supports students enrolled in the program to experience all that our university has to offer, including taking classes, going to sporting and cultural events, completing internships, eating in the cafeteria, attending chapel, and much more Welcome to Bison talk.
