Sun Deep is back and we talked about Bloom, the creative process, the balance of knowing music theory, gatekeepers keeping people from doing music because of certain tools or characteristics, and more.
Sundeep Sharma, also known as his artist name, “Sun Deep”, is a music producer, rapper, filmmaker, and geophysicist. His music has a lot of his Indian culture within it, whether it’s up front when he’s rapping in Hindi, or if it’s inspiring his musical productions. He’s gotten to produce for a lot of other Oklahoma rappers and has worked on music videos, films, and scores. The track that plays at the end is “Going Under” from Sun Deep’s EP, Communication Board, which is streaming everywhere now. Get a bit deep with Sun Deep! You can find him and the stuff he does on his website: https://www.sundeep-productions.com/

Joshua Marquez is back and we discussed how identity and culture shape our perceptions of ourselves and the cultures we belong in. It was a very challenging conversation for me and that’s a good thing. He pointed out ways in which my words indicate how I’ve internalized colonization, but we also discuss music, creation, and qualities in music and how they describe cultural nuance. It’s a lot. The track that plays at the end is “Mandala” from his album, Violent Yellow. You can find Joshua’s stuff on his website: https://joshuamarquez.com/
Joshua Marquez is a Filipino-American composer, guitarist, and sound artist. He is a resident composer for the Saint Mary's College Summer Composition Intensive in Notre Dame, IN and has a PhD in composition from the University of Iowa. It was a pleasure to have him on and discuss music, culture, morality, and spirituality.
The song that plays at the end is "standing still while my head slowly burns", a single he released on April 23rd, 2021. You can find him and the stuff he does at his website: https://joshuamarquez.com/

Joseph Arthur Clark is back and we talked about culture, the occult, specific terms within, and how the colloquial understanding of magic and the occult is far less complex than the reality of how it is practiced. One of the biggest reasons I wanted Joe on Bit Depth was to have more people understand the nature of this level of thought, to open up everyone’s minds to a different layer of viewing the world and how they can behave within it. Again, short summaries fail to describe some of the content that we have in the conversation, so just listen to it. You can find some of Joe’s stuff on Instagram: https://instagram.com/slideangelscribe
Joseph Arthur Clark is a software programmer? Chef? Artist? Occultist? Those are four things that are seemingly unrelated but find unity within this one man that can’t be described in simple terms. Seriously, I can’t even fully describe the conversation we had. We talked about programming and lights, food and cooking, art and mathematics, the occult and spirituality, and so much more. This is one of those podcasts that really define what Bit Depth is. Not because Joe is famous or loud, but because of the sheer depth of conversation that we’re having. It’s next level. Get to know Joe. You can find some of his stuff on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/slideangelscribe/
Doug Sands, the Anywhere Hypnotist, is back and we talked about free will, the mechanisms of hypnotism that surround the conversation of free will, and the mind! You can find all of Doug's things on his website: https://anywherehypnosis.com/
