Bit Depth

Sally Van der Veer returns and we talked about cosplay: what we've done, why we do it, and what we'd like to do. Find her on Instagram @vandeavor or @of.cedar.and.cloves and on Twitter @toevah_shrimp and like her Facebook page, Vandeavor. We also mentioned @rebeckalah and @j.lily.maxon on Instagram!

Love never fails. It's going to be okay. I might be wrong.

Sally Van der Veer is an artist, cosplayer, performer, model, and musician. She's very vocal about social and political problems, which is part of the reason I had her on. We know each other through conventions, which you may know her from her hilarious winning YuGiOh skits with her friend Matthew some years back. We talk about art and spirituality, among other things. You can find Sally on Instagram @vandeavor and her salty Twitter, @toveah_shrimp

This week's guest is Noah Copeland. He's a fellow classmate at ACM@UCO. He's a composer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and an all around swell dude. We share a desire in wanting to compose music for video games and film, so we talk about that for a bit, as well as his spirituality, which is a refreshing point of view of Christianity. You can find Noah on Twitter @NoahCopeland www.twitter.com/noahcopeland

Campbell and I talk about how stage behavior affects how you are received, whether it be with an authentic approach like myself, or with various stage personas, like Campbell. You can find all of the music Campbell takes part in on Spotify, bandcamp, SoundCloud, and MySpace. He's in The Lunar Laugh, Don't Tell, Dena!, Topicana Ice Cream, and Campbell Young himself.

Campbell Young is a musician and producer that I go to school with. He makes a broad range of stuff, but his sound is mostly influenced by synthpop and the 80's. He's in The Lunar Laugh, Don't Tell, Dena!, Topicana Ice Cream, and as himself, Campbell Young. Find all of his stuff on Spotify, iTunes, bandcamp, Soundcloud, or MySpace, which he still uses for some reason. A note about audio quality: I greatly underestimated the amount of noise where we recorded the first six minutes, but we were able to get into a better room with some microphones. I tried my best to remove noise but only so much can be done, and it started to sound over-processed, so I left it at that. At least it's only the first six minutes. After that, it sounds real nice. I'm sorry!
