Hello all of my friends, I am so grateful for the opportunity you give me to share with you on my radio show "The Walk In Cafe" that airs every Thursday at 6:00 P. M. mountain time on blogtalkradio.  My friend and helper on the show is Robert Sharpe, founder of his own radio network on blogtalkradio, that network opperates through blogtalkradio and it is called BITEradio.me.   The last few weeks we have

been a time of great change for many of us.  (actually I think, all of us.)

June 20 will be the last show of the series known as "The Walk In Café".  We have been on BITEradio.me for 3 years and it is time to move on into the "new energy" that arrived on the planet on Jan. 1, 2013.  According to what I have been told all that has been started in the "old energy" is going through change, allowing us as children of the universe to release what no longer serves us and create the life and earth that is based on the love of moving forward with our heartfelt co-creations in our lives.

Starwoman will be coming back in another show with another name that vibrates with the new vibration being established at this time.

When it is ready I will send out another announcement to share with you all the new energies that I am now vibrating with.

Sullie Saves the Seas with author Goffinet McLaren

Goffinet McLaren grew up in the historic town of Carrickfergus, on the water`s edge of Northern Ireland.  Surrounded by the sea, she was aware at a very early age of the importance of caring for the ocean and its inhabitants.  As she grew, she developed a passion to make a difference to our planet.

After retiring to the coast of South Carolina, Goffinet realized that something dreadful was happening!  Litter of all sorts, and particularly plastic products, carelessly left on the beach by thoughtless visitors, were being washed into the sea.

Concerned about the impact of this plastic in the ocean, she investigated what might be known about this problem, and encountered Capt. Charles Moore, the sea captain who had discovered the Great Pacific Garbage Patch some years before.

As she learned more about Capt. Moore’s research, her worst fears about plastic in the ocean were confirmed.  As a result of plastic ingestion, millions of birds, seals, dolphins, turtles, and even whales, suffer heartbreaking deaths, a phenomenon that Goffinet refers to as “a holocaust of ocean life.”  Haunted by what she had learned, she resolved to bring more awareness to the plight of marine life.

One day as she watched some gulls pecking at a piece of plastic, it occurred to her that generations of seagulls must have witnessed the same changes that had taken place in the ocean since she herself was a little girl.
