Bits and Flicks

For this episode we review the new film Ready Player One. Jake joins me as we delve deep into the Oasis where you get two perspectives as I have never read the book while Jake has and the two of us clash over which is better (sort of). Be prepared as we get into spoilers pretty early for both the movie and the book as we tear into this review like the pro gamers that we are.

[[:encoded, "For this episode I ride it solo with my review for Tomb Raider, the film reboot of the popular videogame franchise featuring Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft. This review is pretty light on spoilers (although I do give away one tiny tidbit that isn't too bad) but if you are wary of them make sure to listen once you have seen the film for yourself."]]

[[:encoded, "For this episode, we have some new game announcements such as the new Tomb Raider and a possible new Sonic the Hedgehog racing game. We also spend a good amount of time going over the latest reveal for the new Atari game console officially called the Atari VCS and spitball a few ideas on what type of games can expect to see for it. In what we've been playing we have been basically been playing the same stuff since last time so not a whole lot of updates there. We still have plenty of news and announcements to go over so don't worry if you think there is a lack of content because we got you covered."]]

All that and much more on this episode of Flicks!"]]

[[:encoded, "For this episode we go over missions 9 and 10 as we near the end of the game. While Madcap breezed through these two missions for the most part I hit a couple metaphorical brick walls that challenged by willpower and nearly killed my soul. Be sure to check out both of our playthroughs on our Youtube channels at Gaming with Dweavis and Madcap888 for a first hand account of everything we talk about."]]
