In this episode, I discuss the "messy middle." The messy middle is when you are stuck in the middle, trying to figure out exactly what you want to do in life. I find more and more 20 and 30 year olds find themselves stuck in the middle, going to jobs that don't fulfill them, and living a life that is just "ok." They know they want more in their work, their relationships, and their life, but struggle to figure out how to unlock "more." I've personally live through this for most of my 20's putting tons of self-imposed pressure on myself. I've constantly felt that I've been "stuck" in a messy middle!

However, recently I realized that there is NO MESSY MIDDLE. I'm not stuck at all. No one, myself included will ever "figure it out." Life is a journey of ups and downs, and constant learning. Life is a never ending process and journey of growth and development and that journey can and will be messy. More and more, I'm embracing the messiness of it all. More and more I'm learning that this is not something to be frustrated about, but rather just the facts. Our journey through life will be a messy one.
