Cryptocurrency-based derivatives are about to come under fire by one of the most significant regulating bodies: the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Though the flood of crypto-based products' get-rich-quick advertising campaigns pose tremendous risk to uneducated (retail) investors, an outright ban is bound to hamper institutional adoption.
