What a wonderful weekly contest Hive Open Mic contest always showcase and this week is not different. I have decided to participate in this week contest which the theme is “Hasta la Vista” which means goodbye.

Out of the numerous songs that passed the strong message of goodbye to us, I have decided to do the cover song of goodbye by Miss Linky. For many of us who did not know miss linky, she is on YouTube and she constantly upload videos relating to children content on her YouTube channel.

It is another opportunity to be particularly in this week Hive Open Mic contest. It has really been a while I drop my entry within this community and that is because I have been busy for the past 1 month exploring other communities on hive.

It really feels so good to be back I must confess. Alright as the theme for this week is "Folk & Symphonic Metal". I was actually thinking what song can I make the cover of and boom, an idea drop in my head.

Wade in the water sang by "The Spiritual" has really been awesome and is still awesome but come to think of it, what makes this song so special to me. The song passed a strong message of no matter what you are passing through, you have the backing of your creator which is really awesome and always refreshed my soul whenever I listened to the song.

After been a long time time participating in hive open mic contest, I am here today and I must say I have missed this awesome community 😔

Lately I have been busy with a lot of things that have not given me time to attend to some things. Just this week, I am trying to recover from a lot of routines I have abandoned and one of it is my daily goals even on hive. The last time I participated in hive open mic contest was the week #172 edition. Well today is an awesome opportunity to participate again.

The theme for this week is "Beacon of light" and it is really an interesting theme. Today I will be doing a cover song of what a beautiful name by Hillsong Worship.

It has really been one of my favourite song of all time and it always have a way of breathing light to my soul.

It is really a great time to always participate in hive open mic contest and this week is another opportunity to partake.

For this week, we have a very interesting theme on ground which is "Family". So many resonate in me as I heard the theme and I must say I was motivated to a lot of things and memories was brought back.

One of the most important thing we can ever have while living is family. Family who will love you unconditionally and put all their trust in you. So many people lack family and is making their life incomplete.

It is another new opportunity to participate in Hive Open Mic contest for week 171. I must say it is always a great privilege to always take part in the weekly contest and for this week, I am not missing out.

So this week theme is Divorce/Separation. A lot resonate in my mind the first time I came across this theme and there was memories attached to it.

Research make us understand over 60% of marriage end in divorce. That is really terrible when you put into consideration the plan a lot of people have when getting married. To live happily with that partner they have chose to spend the rest of their live with but something happen during the journey of marriage and then it end in divorce.

So I was thinking which song can I make as my entry and then suddenly an inspiration drop ☺️

A great day to be participating in hive open mic contest week 170 and it is always a great privilege whenever one have the opportunity to do so.

Music has a way of communicating to us the deep things that we might not even feel. There are times I am really down and all I just need to lift my soul is a song. It helps heal the wound.

As This week's Hive Open Mic theme is: “Cacao.” I have come up with a cover of a song I so much love. The title is "people help the people by Birdy"

This song has always been there for me when I am lonely and down due to hard times or probably I am hurt deep within me. I always listen to this song and it has a way of healing me up.

Apart from that, this song helps to point out the essence of humanity as we helping the people. Reaching out to lost people. We should not neglect people who need our help whether they are near us or far from us.

Every Blessed opportunity to participate in this contest is always a great time and this week I will be submitting my entry.

Like we all know, the theme for this week is war and that brings me to stories I have heard about wars. Well it happens that I haven't experienced war before and with a lot of things said about war, I will not want to experience that. The recent war between Russia and ukriane even make me to hate the war more than before.

Today I will be doing a cover of a war song sang by the Ukrainian students during the last war between their country and russia and I believe you will enjoy it
