Chinese-born Australia, Cheng Lei, has been given special permission to watch the Beijing Olympics with other detainees at the Chinese prison where she’s being held. Cheng Lei is a mother of two children in Melbourne, she has been detained for 18 months there are no specific details about the allegations against her.

Annelise Nielsen, Washington Correspondent for Sky News Australia and former colleague of Cheng Lei, told Liam Bartlett she is allowed to watch the Olympics, but still not allowed to speak to her children.
