Shoshi has a candid chat with his father Mr. Montsitsi about his life as a freedom fighter in Apartheid South Africa. The recording of this episode was accidental and a continuation of the chat with his friend, music promoter Mzamo. We published this episode with Mr Montsitsi's permission.

We talk about the division of Black camps within the South African Apartheid state, which resulted in people seemingly fighting different battles.On the one hand you had 'the ANC's freedom charter comrades' and the opposing Black Consciousness Movement which was led by Steve Biko, Robert Sobukwe, the PAC and AZAPO. In this candid chat, Simon details his experiences during that period, experiences that would shape his life and the future of South Africa.

We chat to Western Edge's Nigerian-born actor, spoken word poet and playwright Amarachi Okorom about her upcoming trip to Nigeria to develop a script for her new project. As a critically acclaimed emerging playwright, Amarachi was shortlisted for the 2021 Griffin award, she was also selected for Melbourne Theatre Company's First stage program, Australian Theatre for Young People's National Studio program and Malthouse Theatre's Besen Writer's Group.
