This week, we check back in with This Gym Of Mine, where Dustin actually gets a game over, and Chase has a little bit more of Final Fantasy 16, as well as his thoughts on The Super Mario Bros Movie. We then get into the news from EVO, what's going on with PS5 and cloud streaming, debate on whether or not Sonic is actually good, and confirm some rumors like a shitty Red Dead Redemption port and... QUAKE FUCKING 2 REMASTERED!!
This week Dustin officially takes over as co-host and we talk about something other than Final Fantasy 16! (we do get to that with a major spoiler at 27:17) He starts us of with a "This Gym Of Mine", a Pokemon rom hack that flips the script on tradition Pokemon, and then he covers the rest of Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe. Chase talks way too much about wrestling, but also takes it way back with Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland. Then we get into the news of the week with the Nintendo Switch successor, PS5 Pro rumor mill, boring sales figures, even more remake rumors, and the TMNT/Session tie in, along with much more!
This week we are rejoined by Brandon and Dustin, and all three of us gush about are time with Final Fantasy 16. We also get into Dustin mopping up Final Fantasy 1, and Chase finished up and gives his final thoughts on Season: A Letter to the Future. We then get into the weeks news with canceled games, more layoffs, don't call it Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and pizza scented controllers. Then we end with a very important announcement.
This week Brandon is still out, so we welcome back Dustin Miller, where we talk more about the our time with Final Fantasy 16(spoilers from 12:20-18:10ish). Chase also covers the NieR:Automata anime(at least what's been dubbed so far), Final Fantasy 1 and a small check in with Season. We then get into the weeks news with the fallout of the Microsoft/Activision/Blizzard acquisition, a bunch of old 360 games that suddenly work again, Baldur's gate bear sex, John Cena in Mortal Kombat 1, and Neopets is back?!?!?!?
This week Brandon is out in the field, so we welcome back Dustin Miller to the show! He talks about the Grow Home like game that is Only Up! Chase checks back in with Session, and then both get into Final Fantasy 1 and 16. Then we get back into the news with Sega, EA and everyone's favorite court case, the FTC vs Microsoft.(I am so tired of talking about this...)
We check back in more with Brandon and Diablo 4, and how he may have problem not sticking to one character. Then we get into more of the dark side of Final Fantasy 16(story spoilers from 20:11-30:40, Content warning of talks of implied sexual assault from 29:30-30:40). Then we talk about Nintendo finally getting with the times, Microsoft getting all their dirty laundry aired, E3 not being canceled?, and Zelda Absolutely destroying the charts.
We check in with Brandon's time with Diablo 4, and Chase gets to check out the Lies of P demo as well as gets deeper into Final Fantasy 16. Then we get into the Nintendo Direct, which actually had some surprises, as well as the usual slew of news, which includes just how petty things have gotten between Microsoft and Sony.
This week, we catch up with Brandon and his time checking out the full release of Diablo 4. Chase then dives into the demo of probably his most anticipated AAA game of the year, Final Fantasy 16. We then cover the Ubisoft and Capcom leg of the summer games announcements, as well as get into news with Starfield frame rate "controversy", COD streamers being shitty(so COD streamers), Sony seemingly skipping everything, and it wouldn't be an episode without checking in with everyone's favorite acquisition.
This week was the kickoff of Summer Games Fest(and surrounding events), so we decide to skip the games we've been playing this week, to focus on the games we've been saying. First we cover the weeks news leading up to the events, then we get into our first round of events, with Summer Games Fest, Day of the Devs and the Xbox Showcase/Starfield Direct!!(this one's gonna be meaty!)
It has been a slowish news week but we still have found time to talk about some games. Chase does a brief touch on Season and Brandon talks about an old game find. We then get into the news with The Last Of Us Multiplayer game info(or lack thereof), Nintendo cracking down on more emulators and Ubisoft's upcoming event including, what the f@#$ happened to Beyond Good and Evil 2?(spoiler, no one knows)
