Listen Later

Michael Imhotep host of The African History Network Show on 1-23-19 discussed how Trump's Government Shutdown is helping to destroy some African American owned businesses. There are some tips that have been given to try and help people make it through this Shutdown. This is yet another example of how Elections Have Consequences. #ElectionsHaveConsequences#TrumpShutdown#GovernmentShutdown#BlackFarmers There are historical reasons which are discussed why African Americans are more reliant upon government jobs such as expressways that wiped out many our businesses, the Great Depression that wiped 200,000 African American farms and the loss of 14 million acres of land from 1920-1975.
