Black femininity had to branded. Like in so many other areas, black women aren't necessarily included in the conversation on femininity. Nothing could be further from the truth. Most black women that I know long for a space to let their guards down. We don't want to have the daily fight of proving that our existence matters. We want peace. We want to rest..
