Dr. Tiffany is on vacation and OUT OF THE OFFICE this week. It's lucky episode #7!! And the Black Girl Mentor podcast has officially reached its first milestone of 1000 downloads...woot! woot! On this week's episode, I share how I've been doing over the last week, talk about a Facebook Live Town Hall that focused in on trauma in the Black community, and shared my experience being featured and interviewed on another podcast. I also sat down with #BGMentor IRL Terri Miller - military spouse, mother, and educator, currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan. She talks about navigating major life decisions, adjusting to a life that she didn't expect, reconciling her career ambition with personal goals and demands, and how she strives to be a role model and support to her girls and other military wives.
