BRANDED, LLC became officially organized in the Winter of 2020, but was visualized years earlier. Being Nupes and appreciating quality paraphernalia, along with our passion for golf, we saw an opportunity to provide niche and distinctive products that would appeal to Brothers, i.e. ball markers, golf tees, bag tags, cuff links, stickers, and magnets.
Eric Napue, also affectionately known as, "Uncle E", is the Owner/ Operator of Certified Custom Golf Company. He is also on staff as the Master Fitting Specialist in charge of Player Development and Technical sells for the Xcaliber Golf Shaft Company, and the author of Extreme Engineering. He has working with tour players, high level amateurs, and many everyday players. Uncle E’s MOTTO is simply, "I am here to serve."
James Brown / owner When I began the game of golf, one of the first things that happened to me was I walked into a custom builders shop and he immediately started teaching about building clubs. I am forever grateful for him showing me this craft.
Renegade Golf was founded in 2019 on the idea that golf should be more of an inclusive sport where individuals of all demographics and economic backgrounds feel welcome to play. When looking at traditional golf marketing and country club environments, there is an apparent lack of diversity, innovation, and progress that keeps the game stagnant. Renegade Golf provides a fresh, genuine, trendy, and needed push towards a golf brand made for the modern golfer.
Renegade Golf is committed to being a part of the community through golf education, inclusive events, and programming. We strive to provide content, instruction, and products to a diverse community of individuals who can learn the game of golf while being the real, authentic version of themselves.
The co-founders, Kenneth Duncan(right) and Drew McLeod(left), bringing significantly different perspectives to the game, have built a cohesive vision to “Defy the Status Quo” set in golf. Kenneth has been playing golf for over 15 years, sports a single-digit handicap, and is deeply involved in local Atlanta golf. Drew took up the game after joining the company and has since lent a new perspective regarding how he wants to learn, dress, and feel “like himself” in the new golf space.
We are committed to maintaining a local presence regardless of our size, and we are glad to be a part of your future golf vision. Reach out to us to say hello or subscribe to our email list to maintain updates on new releases and upcoming events.
ENGINEER/GOLFER GRANTED PATENT THAT WILL TRANSFORM THE SPORT OF GOLF
GOLF’S LONG AWAITED TRAINING AID, THE NEURAPUTT HAS FINALLY BEEN GREENLIT WITH AN OFFICIAL PATENT BEING GRANTED TO ITS INVENTOR AND DESIGNER, ALAN JOHNSON.
[Detroit, Michigan, January 2020] — With decades of golf experience, both as a player and coach, Alan Johnson wanted to solve the one devastating part of every golfer’s game – putting.
Neuraputt is a simple golf training device that immediately sharpens a player’s sense of aim. What’s unique about this training device is that where beginners need to develop their abilities, the players who are proficient can continuously hone and calibrate theirs. This concept and capability is the first of its kind in the golf putting training aid market and has now been granted it’s official patent.
Inventor, Engineer and CEO of Par5Ninja, Alan Johnson states that:
“I wanted a way to quantify improvement after practice sessions on the putting green.
My manufacturing and engineering background gives me the ability to consider the less than obvious elements in golf training, such as human behavior, ergonomics and physics. It all plays a role in the product design and hand selecting of materials that built NeuraPutt.
When designing NeuraPutt, I wanted a way to measure where I’m aiming and where I’m actually putting the ball. Because more often than most people realize, we put good strikes on putts but we still miss. The reason being, our internal sense of aim is generally off.”
The Story Behind Make Time 4 Another 9 If someone were to ask me how many brothers I have, my answer would be four. The three I grew up with and Steve McFarland, the one that grew in my heart. During our twenty-one year friendship we always strived to “Make Time 4 Another9.” To us, that came to mean making the most of our time together, being intentional with our passion for golf, as well as the brotherhood that meant so much up until Steve’s passing in 2017 from testicular cancer. All forms of cancer are bad, but testicular cancer is often forgotten because of the associated high survival rates. Detection is key and I witnessed my friend live an active, athletic lifestyle for over 15 years before realizing he had stage III testicular cancer. One of the foundations of the Make Time 4 Another 9 brand is to promote testicular cancer awareness through our social media outlets and by donating 10% of our apparel sales to the Testicular Cancer Research & Awareness Organizations. The phrase started as a tribute to my friend and then became my way of remembering him with the slogan printed on my golf items. After receiving waves of positive feedback I decided to create a lifestyle brand of performance apparel that encourages getting the most out of our time with those important to us. For Steve and I, our “Another 9” was golf, but your “Another 9” with those special to you can be anything.
