What makes a deep conditioner different thenn a regular conditioner? When are you are you supposed to use which one? Am I doing it right? I will answer all that in less than 60 seconds! 

What do you do about hair in a pandemic?!!! 

Normally, I would say walk around the house looking crazy! We do not care, as long as you are not out in these streets passing around the ick! However,. from my in depth research (scrolling the feed of my FB) I see that is not at all realistic. People have to still go to work. People don't want to look crazy. Black women are out here thinking they are immune and still "ISO somebody that can do some knotless box braids." Or " Who has bundles on deck?"  

This is another episode where you get the eavesdrop! It is just the three of us talking about what hair care for a black girl was like, or could be like. Heather is white and engaged to a black man. What will their child's hair care routine be like? Will it be like mine from the 80's ? I doubt it!!! 

What is your girl talk like? Do y'all talk about your pocket book care and what she likes? Well, today you get to hear from two of my friends and our trials and tribulations coming of age during the Bath and Body Works Era. We were enjoying our beverages so the talk got a little off subject, I brought it back to cooch care in my solo segment at the end. How many different ways did I refer to pubic area incorrectly?  Can you count them all?

Here are some suggestions for self-care: 

1. Don’t check your email or social media channels within one hour of waking. Check it during the hours of business.

2. Pamper yourself, go get your own hair done.

3.  Say no to events or gatherings that stretch you too thin. Setting boundaries is healthy!

4.  Schedule your vacations,  and days off.

5. Invest in yourself! Take classes that improve your knowledge.

Sir/Ma'am, it is haaaaarrrddd out here in the single world!!! Then when you throw in hair care, or lack thereof you have a whole circus! If you want a good laugh, you should listen in to this episode! I am willing to bet you will never think of dating the same way again!

Two stylists just chit-chatting a little about hair, a little about life. Rae and I both graduated from Regency Beauty Institute in 2007/08. We have remained friends through life, a couple of moves for me and one for her. I don't have a lot of close friends, but she is one of the closest. She saw me through the final two trimesters of pregnancy and up until this moment. Now we are fully in our 30's and looking at how the hair care industry has played a role in our life, and where to next.
