This week I am going to continue the series "Black History Month Sampler" with part 2 since this is the last weekend to celebrate Black History Month. On the show we'll be hear a couple of cuts from many of the great African-American musicians, bandleaders and composers who were part of the scene during the Big Band Era. Performers included today are Ella Fitzgerald with Chick Webb, Earl Hines, Ivy Anderson with Duke Ellington, Roy Eldridge, Louis Jordan, and Lionel Hampton.
