CW and Greg Berlanti expand the footprint of their DC Comics universe with this exploration of the intersection between family life and being a superhero. As a younger man, Jefferson Pierce donned the suit of a vigilante and protected the streets of his city, but he believed he'd left those days in the past. He learns that life doesn't always work out as planned when his daughter, Jennifer -- a star student who is determined to achieve justice at any cost -- gets recruited by a street gang. In order to protect his family, Jefferson sees no choice but to once again become Black Lightning.

Black Lightning season finale was lit! We see Black Lightning go head to head with Gravedigger twice and he was able to stand his ground. Brennifer teamed up to go head to head with Gravedigger only to not be successful and fall to his demise. We see our last scenes of Henderson as he is killed by Gravedigger’s army fighting for his best friend’s life. It looks like all bets are still on with Black Lightning fighting for Freeland and everyone wanting a piece of the sacred city.

Khalil has officially given into Painkiller who iis on a mission to kill the Pearce family.

Grave Digger is Coming for The US with a Vengeance! - S3 E14

We finally make it to Markovburg to fight the Markovians and things get heated...figuratively and literally. We also get introduced to Gravedigger played by Wayne Brady, who mind controls Lynn into making a serum for the metas being held captive in Markovia. Lynn is still being the genius she is, mimics his powers and manages to escape captivity. Black Lightning is able to capture Tobias, but loses him while fighting off the ASA.The family is finally reunited and able to escape with no casualties due to Black Lightning facing off with Gravedigger.

The secret is finally out: Lynn is on green-light. This episode we swallow many hard truths as the truth of everyone's situation rises to the surface. Dr.Jace realizes if Lynn shares the recipe so save Marcovia’s metas she will be killed. Tobias can be made a vegetable now that he is out of the ASA’s hands. Finally, Jen brings back “the real” Khalil only for his first words ro be “you should have left me to die alone.” Although this was quite a heavy episode, next we will go to Markovburg for ASA/Pearce Family vs Markovian action.
