Black Lightning season finale was lit! We see Black Lightning go head to head with Gravedigger twice and he was able to stand his ground. Brennifer teamed up to go head to head with Gravedigger only to not be successful and fall to his demise. We see our last scenes of Henderson as he is killed by Gravedigger’s army fighting for his best friend’s life. It looks like all bets are still on with Black Lightning fighting for Freeland and everyone wanting a piece of the sacred city.

Gravedigger has officially touched down in Freeland and it is not looking good. Finally we see the Pearce family together to celebrate Grace and Annisa’s engagement and TC gets a notification that Gravedigger is in Freeland and is ready to take metas to Markovia. Meanwhile, Lady Eve is meeting with Odell negotiating getting back in the ASA over the briefcase she gave Gambi last season. Khalil has officially given into Painkiller who iis on a mission to kill the Pearce family.

We finally make it to Markovburg to fight the Markovians and things get heated...figuratively and literally. We also get introduced to Gravedigger played by Wayne Brady, who mind controls Lynn into making a serum for the metas being held captive in Markovia. Lynn is still being the genius she is, mimics his powers and manages to escape captivity. Black Lightning is able to capture Tobias, but loses him while fighting off the ASA.The family is finally reunited and able to escape with no casualties due to Black Lightning facing off with Gravedigger.

The secret is finally out: Lynn is on green-light. This episode we swallow many hard truths as the truth of everyone's situation rises to the surface. Dr.Jace realizes if Lynn shares the recipe so save Marcovia’s metas she will be killed. Tobias can be made a vegetable now that he is out of the ASA’s hands. Finally, Jen brings back “the real” Khalil only for his first words ro be “you should have left me to die alone.” Although this was quite a heavy episode, next we will go to Markovburg for ASA/Pearce Family vs Markovian action.

Lynn gets a hold of a bag of green light, with the help from Sergeant Gardner Grayle. Gambi saves TC and finds out that Lady Eve was the one who ordered to have him killed. Black Lightning gets a hold of agent Odell, wants to kill him after finding out he's been using his daughter, Jen. Major orders Pain Killer to kill the whole Pierce Family. Jen reveals to Brandon that she is Lightning and later on finds out that "Khalil aka Pain Killer is alive. Speaking of alive, Lala discovers that Lady Eve is back from the dead and he wants to take over her turf. Lynn rescues Tobias out of the ASA, then knocks him out with her super power. When she thinks everything is fine both her and the Sergeant are attacked and captured by a Marcovian.

Our Beloved Black Lightening is back from his trip to the alternate universe where he fought in the Infinity Crisis alongside Flash, Superman, and many others. Now that him and Jen are back on earth they are still going head to head with Odell and the ASA. Jen has made it her personal mission to kill Odell, only Odell manages to capture Jen as she is rescuing Brandon from unintentionally creating earthquakes. Lynn's secret is finally out as Jen and Jeff both catch her fiending for Greenlight, which eventually leads to her pack her belongings and leave the Pearce family household. Blackbird and Black Lightning sucessfully lead another group to freedom from the ASA with the help of Henderson and the Freeland police. Jennifer and Brandon break free from the ASA and as Jen goes to kill Odell she realizes it was a hologram version of him and her with "This isn't over young lady."
