Steve is the founder and CEO of the marketing agency, Translation Enterprises, and more recently, the music distribution company United Masters which gives independent artists the control and ownership they deserve. Steve is also the author of “The Tanning of America: How the Culture of Hip-Hop Rewrote the Rules of the New Economy” and wrote the playbook on authentically incorporating hip-hop into marketing. In 2013, he was named Ad Age Executive of the Year and is the mastermind behind some of your favorite commercials featuring hip hop artists and star athletes.
