Marco’s distinctive sound as a music producer blends ambient music, modern psychedelic techno with deep tribal influences, crafting immersive auditory experiences that transcend conventional boundaries.

His personal research delves into the symbiotic relationship between visual rhythm, detail, and the evolving language of visual art as influenced by technology and subcultures: a continuous exploration of synesthesia, integrating sight and sound in a way that reflects a devotion to aesthetic minimalism, combined with an chaotic post-internet abstractism.

A little bit of the things I listen to while working or walking my dog or just hanging out with my friends. Some songs or artists even birthed ideas of illustrations and series of artworks. Oneof my ideal projects would be to design album covers for my favorite artists, and this basically stood at the root of my "FANBOY" series, a sort of visual playlist and homage to a genre of music. I even created a playlist for my exhibition, and some people loved it, so I thought why not try to take it just a tiny step further and share with even more people.

It’s not just a choice of style, but a way of life where each beat is a reflection of one’s soul. The music speaks to the body and the dance flows effortlessly, like second nature. No instructions needed, just let the music guide you in a mesmerising celebration of life.

Amapiano is the word being used to describe South Africa’s fastest-growing electronic-music movement. Emerging around the townships of Pretoria in 2016, Amapiano is a hybrid of deep house, jazz, kwaito and lounge music with distinct synths, airy pads wide basslines and percussions from another subgenre of house called Bacardi. The name was selected to reflect the melodious piano keyboards that underline fast-pace Gqom beats. It is a combination of the Zulu plural article “ama” and the English noun “piano”.
