Joy to the World is one of the most beloved Christmas songs of all time, but it's not actually about Christmas at all. However the true meaning of this song and an understanding of the painful, annoying Christmas that Mary and Joseph experienced will help us truly understand God's love for us and why we bring Joy to the World.

Of course life has its ups and downs, but do I need to keep rising and falling with the circumstances? According to Scripture there’s a better way to go. Instead of constantly shifting upward and downward, I  can go Godward in a Christ-centered relationship that gives me victory over the variations of life.
