The guys get together without Sam to listen to a sweet ass story about the Boston Molasses Flood of 1919. Tons of people were hurt, some were  killed, and even more covered in the sticky sugar.

Loren brings the guys together for an explanation of how cults recruit,  work, operate and target their victims. It also highlights some of the  techniques formerly used, and currently used by cult deprogrammers like Ted Patrick to help people extract themselves from cult-like groups.

Their world is a weird world of improving the social interactions of people who are perhaps lacking those skills. However, some of those techniques turn quite strangely into stories emotional abuse, misogyny, vanity and the lust for fame.

We have Matthew Wallace joining us again as we talk a little bit about the Trail of Tears, The Irish Potato Famine and how, after nearly 170 years, a thread of solidarity connected these two stories during a crisis.

Well, the guys get together for a discussion about workers rights and protesting. Specifically the United Mine Workers and the United Auto  Workers of America in the early 1900's. They'll be discussing a few of the key players that brought about safer work environments, better pay and the weekend for workers, as well as branched out into solidarity with other disparaged peoples.

Oh, and they also discuss Dylann Roof, the guy who walked into Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina and shot 9 black people dead. Loren brings us the story of his crime, but, more importantly, the radicalization that led to it and how the internet played a roll in his actions.

Originally aired April 26th, 2020: The guys bring a more loose-fit to this show. They've found some manifestos and read through them to see what they're like. 

They read from The Flat Earth Manifesto, The Martian Blowjob Manifesto, and some dude who claims to be a chrononaut, a time traveler. It's a silly, strange episode filled with a lot of fun, and strange commercials.
