Tonight’s main topics will cover the term “moral injury” being associated with military veterans that encompass symptoms like feelings of “betrayal, anger, shame and guilt” and it can lead to how this might play a significant role in the high suicide rate among veterans who fall victim to societal alienation. Often they are written off as suffering from the broad term PTSD associated with those who experienced combat during warfare but not all vets who suffer moral injuries have to do with seeing blood and guts on a battlefield or being forced to partake or witness the slaughter of civilians.

Now think about the moral injury that will be caused to US service members who don’t want to go fight and die for a fascist right-wing government turned dictatorship in Western Ukraine whose so-called President recently stated to the press that Russia wants to invade the Baltic NATO states and then the US will have to send their sons and daughters to fight and die. Russia has sought peace with Ukraine with the latest official meeting being the Minsk Accords but Zelensky who ran as a pro-peace candidate has been seduced or coerced into adopting the agenda of the far-right fascist political elements that include neo-Nazis who have deified the Nazi WWII collaborator Stepan Bandera.

Reports are true that Mississippi Republican RHINOS are attempting to disenfranchise voters with a bill that will create a district where judges in the criminal justice system will not be elected but become political appointees.

Mediaite, a blue check mark media company that gives “news” and “opinions” about the media was caught on social media pushing disinformation about the US government not funding neo-Nazi elements in Ukraine and no other so-called fact-checking organization fact-checked them when it is a well-documented fact that they were and still is.

The actor and former rapper Ice T aka Tracy Lauren Marrow took a jab at today's generation of rappers calling them "soft" and "goofy". Some hip-hop old heads don't agree one hundred percent.

What is culture and when it comes to "Black" people, what is "our" culture and why do some African Americans reject the culture of their direct ancestors here in the USA? And why do some of us insist on defending the oxymoronic term "Woman King"?

Let's define what we are talking about as "our" culture.

"Culture is an umbrella term that encompasses the social behavior, institutions, and norms found in human societies, as well as the knowledge, beliefs, arts, laws, customs, capabilities, and habits of the individuals in these groups.[1] Culture is often originated from or attributed to a specific region or location.

Humans acquire culture through the learning processes of enculturation and socialization, which is shown by the diversity of cultures across societies."

"Psychology is the scientific study of mind and behavior. Psychology includes the study of conscious and unconscious phenomena, including feelings and thoughts. It is an academic discipline of immense scope, crossing the boundaries between the natural and social sciences."

Chopping up with Kwabena Rasuli of Clear The Airwaves Project to get his opinion on the Rhianna Superbowl Halftime performance which has generated a lot of interest and chatter from the alleged Illuminati symbolism to the artist literally smelling herself on stage and on television. The Buffalo Domestic Terrorist was sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty. His sentencing hearing garnered criticism for the victims for trying to attack the man in court. They called it "performative".

Welcome to BTR NEWS w/ Scotty Reid as I broadcast from behind the enemy lines of Corporate USA. We have a guest joining us tonight who has a different opinion on the African Monarchs than I do and since it is Black History month, they are part of that history even if only a negative part, but I said sure why not let's have that discussion?

I also want to talk about the emotionalism and uncodified behavior I’ve witnessed in the wake of the killing of Tyre Nichols. One thing that caught my eye as well as that of the suspected racist podcast hosts, is the Rev. Al Sharpton's claim at the funeral for Mr. Nichols when he told the family that if he were white (Tyre), it would not have happened to him.

This statement is both uncodified and incorrect and when I pointed this out online, a black woman whom I don’t know blocked me on social media because of her emotionalism when confronted with irrefutable facts that all kinds of people get snuffed out by police in the USA.

Why is it so hard for some people, of all ethnicities and skin colors, to believe that hundreds of white people are among the body counts of those who died at the hands of cops?

It just seems to me that instead of discussing realistic solutions to the problem of police violence, some of my peers keep repeating the same arguments about how it is linked to white supremacy that they made the last time a black person was killed by cops on camera. Policing today is linked to 21st Century Slavery and today all demographics across racial lines are falling victim to the same system and the slave catchers come in all colors, religions, and genders.
