The Latest on the Protests in the U.S.

Peaceful protestors outside of the White House were hit with tear gas and rubber bullets yesterday evening in order to clear them out before President Trump took a walk to St. John's Church for a photo op.
As expected, an independent autopsy of George Floyd found his cause of death was asphyxiation from sustained pressure . . . in other words, the knee to his neck.
The death has now been ruled a homicide.
The three officers who were on the scene and did not stop Derek Chauvin from killing Floyd still have not been arrested.
George Floyd's brother, Terrence Floyd, spoke outside of the store where his brother was murdered yesterday. He called for peaceful protests to continue, saying, quote, "Educate yourself and know who you vote for . . . do this peacefully."
President Obamapublished an essay online yesterday about how to, quote, "make this moment the turning point for real change." His message is that protests make voices heard . . . and state and local elections make a big difference in reforming the criminal justice system. Quote, "If we want to bring about real change, then the choice isn't between protest and politics.  We have to do both."
Police have attacked journalists more than 100 times in the past four days.
And speaking of cops not wanting video evidence out there, when cops shot and killed a business owner in Louisville, Kentucky on Monday, all of their body cams were off.  The police chief has been fired.

(55:50) Five Mistakes You Might Still Be Making with Face Masks
Using the wrong material.  The best reusable face masks are made of breathable fibers with tight weaves, like lightweight denim or cotton bedsheets.  A thread count around 100 is ideal.  If you can see through it when you hold it to the light, it's too thin.
Putting your mask on too late.  Ideally, you should put it on before you leave the house, or at least before you get out of the car.  If you wait until you're walking into a store, you might be exposing yourself to the virus without knowing it.
Taking it off too early.  For the same reason, you should leave it on until you get in your car, or until you get home.
Accidentally contaminating it.  Touching your mask to adjust it, or even just wearing it around your neck could contaminate it.
Never washing it.  Cloth masks should be washed after every use in the hottest setting possible.  Or if you only wear it once in a while, you can let it sit in a bag for a week to make sure any virus on it dies off.
