Lest we forget..Once upon a time, there were well trained black doctors and black nurses working in a black hospital providing care to the black community. A nurse who was there, shares her story.

A group of black women came together to discussed shrinking their fibroids with a plant based diet instead of medication and/or surgery. They came together, to take charge of their health. They shared and they were supportive of where each was starting and their individual efforts. It was inspiring. It was one of the best days of my professional life.

This is not racist. It’s an acknowledgement of the awesomeness of the Black and her ability to defy the odds. It’s a challenge to heal ourselves and to benefit all women.
