Blackborow Station

In the season one finale, Hewlett discusses his first meeting with The Bipolar Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, a.k.a Victoria, a.k.a "V" who is perhaps the company's most prodigious Linux administrator and disgruntled cosplay star. Hewlett finds himself on a perilous mission which takes him outside of Blackborow Station in hazardous weather conditions. He must navigate the Unimog through a windstorm and fulfill Archon's objectives with the guidance of Tatiana Ostrovsky, who is unsure if Hewlett is well suited for this role in the Antarctic.

Ian was hoping for a pleasant night out with Catharine, and perhaps a few drinks with friends. Maybe he should have saved the conversation about Blackborow for another night. Hewlett reaches back to Iowa City to speak to Sasha, an old friend in the midst of rehearsing for an upcoming performance. Sonya Alexandrovna gives us all a piece of her mind. This episode features Katie Kleiger as Sasha. 

A group of scientists, technologists, misfits and miscreants are slowly arriving at the remote Blackborow Research Station of Antarctica knowing little information about the lucrative year-long assignment that's just begun. They only understand that their employer, the powerful and mysterious Archon Corporation, will provide information about this undertaking on an as-needed basis. Two weeks have gone by at the substation. There's a therapist, a rowing machine, and a Weddell seal, but not much else to go on.
