Today’s show is dedicated to Anisa Scott, the Madison eleven-year-old whose life was taken much too soon by gun violence.

First, Wednesday host Ali Muldrow commemorates Anisa’s life with Reverend Everett Mitchell. Then, she talks about the impact of gun violence in our community and the fight for Black lives with M. Adams of Freedom, Inc.

Reverend Everett Mitchell is a Dane County Circuit Court Judge and senior pastor of Christ the Solid Rock Baptist Church.

M. Adams is a community organizer and co-executive director of Freedom, Inc., the organizer of last night’s vigil and march honoring Black lives lost to violence.
